Yohei & Michele had the quaintest wedding outside of Nashville, TN at Hachland Hill. It was surrounded by 90 acres of woods and the buildings had the enchanting rustic charm of a bygone era. The groom, Yohei is from Japan and we loved seeing the Japanese culture touches added to the wedding…such as Michele’s Kimono she wore for the rehearsal dinner and all the cranes that awaited each guest at the reception. So many wonderful moments and we couldn’t have been happier to capture their wedding day!!
Yohei & Michele are talented creatives & you should check out their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/inspiredbyamoment/ & their website: www.inspiredbyamoment.com.
We love Hawaii and were thrilled when Shumpei invited us to be a part of his beautiful wedding day. He is a good family friend & we wouldn’t of missed it for the world. Here are a few of our favorites from their AMAZING session. I can’t even choose a favorite.
We had a blast photographing Bill & Jessica at two of our favorite Kansas City spots. The Local Pig/Pigwich is one of the yummiest places in town serving up organic meats and sandwiches. Right next door to the Local Pig is Urban Provisions, which sells the coolest handcrafted KC items. Check out our favorite images from their session. We loved the hip style these two have and their fun energy they brought to the session.
If you are in KC you should check out the Local Pig www.thelocalpig.com & Pigwich because their food is awesome! Every time we are in Kansas City we make at least one trip there. And you should check out Urban Provisions because they sell AWESOME KC goods. Check them out at www.urbanprovisionskc.com
Summer engagement session are my absolute favorite! Carl & Callie’s session did not disappoint & it might be one of my favorite sessions to date! We had beautiful summer evening and a great location that Callie scouted out! She found this cute little farm property out in Gretna. Not only was the location great but Carl & Callie were naturals in front of the camera. If I could share every image I would but here are just a few of my favorites from their session.
There were so many things we loved about PJ & Cassie’s wedding. We always enjoy shooting at unique venues. PJ & Cassie got married on the deck of the Driftwood Inn Restaurant and Lounge in Blair, NE. The restaurant has been in PJ’s family for years. We loved all the beautiful details Cassie took the time to create. Their wedding party was fun and full of energy. I think the only thing we didn’t like was the 100 degree heat! Check out some of our favorite images from their wedding day! Isn’t their little girl the sweetest?! Thanks for letting us capture your day Mr. & Mrs. Mallette!!

We had the privilege of shooting Mitch & Erica’s Lincoln wedding in March. They had their ceremony at First Plymouth Congregational Church, one of the prettiest churches we have shot at. It had beautiful natural light, big windows and a brick courtyard to die for…photographer’s dream! Erica and Mitch are just the nicest people and we were so excited to be able to capture their beautiful day. One of the neatest parts of their day was the saber arch exit. It was neat to see Mitch’s military buddies there to support him on his big day! Chad, my husband and the other half of True Cotton Weddings was almost 8 year active duty with the Army. So it is always a pleasure and privilege to capture another military couple’s big day! So Mr. & Mrs. Adkins congrats and thank you for letting us capture your beautiful day!
I have been itching to get this amazing destination wedding on the blog since we shot it on June 1st! We were thrilled when we met with Matt & Kaity and they asked us if we want to shoot their destination wedding in Jamaica. Umm Yes! Their day was just perfect from the location, the weather and down to the last guest. It was an honor to be able to spend a few days with their family and friends celebrating them and their marriage. Some of the nicest people we have met & by the end of the trip we felt like old friends! Thanks Matt & Kaity for letting us be a part of your wedding day and weekend! It was truly amazing! <3
